• Followed products and categories: saved only in your browser’s local storage on your device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.
• Newsletter form: not connected to any email service. Addresses entered are validated in your browser and are not sent or stored.
• Analytics, advertising and tracking cookies: none are used in this build.

Before the site goes public, this page must describe every service that processes personal data, for example an analytics tool, an email provider and affiliate networks that set cookies, with the purpose and the retention period for each.

Some photos on guide pages are loaded directly from Unsplash’s image servers, which receive your IP address and browser information when the image loads, under Unsplash’s privacy policy. The site sets no advertising cookies; the “Follow” feature stores your choices only in your own browser.

To be completed before launch: list of processors and cookies (hosting provider, email provider, analytics if added), data controller legal name and postal address, and the rights available to readers in the regions you serve (for example the United States and Canada).

When newsletters go live, we will use your email address only to send the newsletters you select, confirm your subscription before the first email and include an unsubscribe link in every message. See newsletters.
