Version 0.1-demo is the starting point for the HannahRev monitor test bench. It defines the tests, units, scoring anchors and weights used by every monitor review published with it.
What is included
- Design: build quality and stand ergonomics are scored; style, stand footprint, display and box contents are documented.
- Picture Quality: contrast, local dimming, SDR and HDR brightness, uniformity, colour accuracy, gamut, colour volume, viewing angle, text clarity, reflections and gradient.
- Motion: refresh rate, variable refresh rate, response time at the maximum refresh rate and at 60Hz, backlight strobing and flicker.
- Inputs: input lag, resolution and console compatibility are scored; ports and USB are documented.
- Features: documented, not scored.

Known limitations
- Anchors and weights are placeholders until they are validated against a larger set of tested units.
- Assessed scores (build quality, text clarity, gradient, blooming) use a written checklist but are still reviewer judgements.
- Response time is summarised as a single average; a full transition heatmap is planned.
